*A non-refundable registration fee of $50 per student is required at registration with early registration of $25 per student available from April 1 through  May 31.  From June 1 all registrations are $50 per student. 

Fund Raising

Providing a quality band program costs MHSB $450 per student each year.  To keep tuition low, each student is responsible for raising $200 each year.  This also ensures support for the band from the local community, a requirement that enables MHSB to maintain its non-profit status. MHSB will endeavor to provide band wide fundraising opportunities for families, but families are also encouraged to find their own fund raisers and solicit donations from the community.   

Other Expenses

In addition to the tuition, there are costs associated with performance attire, instrument purchase or rental and instrument maintenance and, on occasion, travel expenses for band trips.

Multiple Student Discounts

Beginner Band tuition is $200 per student for the first two students. The third and fourth students are $150 per student.

For all other bands tuition is $250 per student for the first two students. The third and fourth students are $200 per student.

The optional Chamber Ensemble/Praise Band tuition is an additional $50 per student.  Students must participate in band in order to be eligible for Chamber Ensemble and/or Praise Band.
