Symphony Orchestra:

Mid-Carolina Homeschool Symphony

 

Combines strings with woodwind, brass and percussion instruments to give students the opportunity to experience the expanded literature and joy of playing in a full orchestra. Parent musicians are welcome. 

Musicians must provide their own instruments.

Tentatively scheduled for Monday afternoons this fall.  2008 rates, location and start dates TBA.

This is my highest recommendation for purchasing instruments, supplies, etc. The site has a 1- 800 number to call for help.  All of the staff are highly trained and experienced musicians who can really help you buy what you are looking for.

These are great summer music programs.  The Csehy and Bob Jones programs have strong Christian components as well as great music instruction and opportunities.
